Understanding BDI-3 Access Keys

BDI-3 Access Keys provide yearly subscription access to the BDI-3 platform within Riverside Score. Each user, including the Account Holder, must have an access key. The Account Holder manages the platform and user access, so their key cannot be reassigned to anyone else. Every subscription starts with the Account Holder’s key, even if they do not act as an examiner.

Why Is Access Important?

Access keys enable examiners to use the platform for digital resources, online scoring, and reporting. Some examiners may only need digital resources, which include:

  • Examiner’s manual
  • Norms and conversions
  • Technical manuals
  • Tutorials and guides

Even if an examiner scores tests by hand, they still need access to these digital materials.

With an access key, examiners can log in to access electronic record forms. These forms allow them to enter a child’s scores, commit test records, and generate detailed reports. The reporting features offer a wide variety of scores, helping examiners analyze a child’s functioning thoroughly.

Without an access key, examiners cannot:

  • Log in to commit digital test records
  • Run detailed reports
  • Access critical resources like the examiner’s manual, DQ charts, and observational checklists

Adding or Renewing Access Keys

Organizations can purchase additional access keys at any time during their subscription. These keys are offered at a prorated rate based on the subscription’s remaining duration.

The Account Holder or any admin can assign access keys to examiners. To avoid reassigning keys after expiration, renew your subscription before it ends.

By ensuring every user has an active access key, you maintain seamless access to the powerful features and resources of the BDI-3 platform.
