Have you recently tested an examinee with the Batería IV and WJ IV and got different derived test scores although the raw scores for the tests are the same?

This is likely due to specific Batería IV tests being adaptations of the WJ IV and not simply direct translations. The table below outlines which tests are direct translations, and which tests are adaptations. A test is considered to be an adaptation when the construct/abilities it measures are the same, but the items were changed or adapted to be appropriate for Spanish-Speaking examinees.

For those adapted tests, we cannot expect that derived scores would be exactly the same because the item content and item difficulty would be different across the WJ IV and Batería IV versions of that test.
