BDI-3: How Long Should I Wait Before Re-Administering a test?
Modified on: Thu, 23 Jun, 2022 at 12:22 PM
Issue
- You need to re-administer a test to a student but are unsure how long you need to wait before doing so.
Resolution
- It is recommended that re-testing using the Developmental Complete be done after 3 to 6 months from the initial administration. Please see information regarding the Test-Retest Stability of the BDI-3 Developmental Complete on page 147 of the BDI-3 Examiner's Manual.
- For the Battelle Early Academic Survey, it is recommended that there be a 4 month gap in between administrations. You can find information regarding this recommendation on page 8 of the BEAS Examiner's Manual under "Pre- and Postintervention Assessment"
